I use a pioneer kuro set and that seemed to like an rgb video level setting on my old oppo bdp-95 and and bdp-93, but due to the new oppo bdp-103d having the darbee processing done in the 4:2:2 color space, would i be better off swapping to 4:2:2 or another setting.. Before i conclude this review of the oppo bdp-103d darbee edition blu-ray disc player, i wanted to point out two additional things about darbee visual presence that may provide further perspective. the 4k issue. with regards to darbee visual presence technology, it must be noted that, as of this time, it does not work with native 4k video signals.. The only drawback to the bdp-103d is also the same as its predecessor – the smart cupboard is a little bare. while mass-market brands pack all manner of catchup/streaming services, oppo's highlights are bbc iplayer, netflix and youtube..
I seem to remember reading, i think on here (103eu/103d thread) or it could have been elsewhere as i've done a lot of searching, that somebody had an issue with the sound being off sync. have either of you had any problems? it certainly seems the oppo is the way to go as it would be cheaper than the upgrade option..
