Many users have resolved this error by simply restarting their smartphone. Others have fixed it by clearing app caches. Below are all the methods to help you fix the unfortunately gallery has stopped error in Android devices:

  3. Now open your camera app and try to view the pictures
  4. Also open the gallery app and see if the error pops up or not

Method 2:  Clear cache and data of Camera and Gallery app

Before you perform the below steps make sure you copy all of your photos in the camera gallery to your PC or an external microSD card.
  1. Go to Settings >> Apps or application manager
  2. Scroll down and select "Camera" >> Tap  "Force Stop" and "Clear Data"
  3. Go back, scroll down and select "Gallery" >> Tap  "Force Stop" and "Clear Data"

  5. If theres no error, youve resolved the gallery error

Method 3: Reinstalling GAPPs and OS

This is a last resort fix for custom ROM users. If you are constantly getting the error even after performing all the above fixes, then its time to backup all your data and perform a factory reset. You can use Titanium backup to backup your apps/games data. Custom ROM users will have to first copy the zip files of the Android OS and GApps into their main folder or storage. Then reboot into recovery, wipe data and cache partition. After than simply install the zip files and reboot system.

LG Tips How to select multiple images in Gallery app

LG Tips How to select multiple images in Gallery app

Many users who just got a new LG smartphone are having a problem where they cant select multiple images in LGs Gallery app. Many will wonder how such a simple feature is missing in a high-end smartphone, but actually there is a different step to select multiple photos in Gallery on LG devices so that you can do multiple deletion at once instead of one by one. Before you go installing a third party app like Quickpic, here is how you can select multiple images in the Gallery app of LG G3, G4, G5:

  • Open (default) Gallery
  • Open the folder whose images you want to delete/copy/move
  • Tap on the delete icon on the top right screen
  • Now you can make select multiple pictures one by one or tap "select all" to delete everything

Similarly, if you want to copy or cut/move images to different folder in Gallery app, after step 2 above. Tap on the menu icon (three dots lined vertically) on the top right corner of the screen. Then tap "move" or "copy" and select the photos you want to move or copy.
