Fix Yellow Tint Display on Android Phone tablet

Have you noticed that your smartphone’s screen is slightly yellower than normal i.e. the whites look yellowish or too warm. Many people won’t notice this pale Yellow display problem unless they put their smartphone or tablet side-by-side with another device and compare the white levels of the screen. Even the latest Nexus 6p and Nexus 5x has been affected by this problem. While many people are perfectly fine with the yellowish or warmer tone of their IPS or AMOLED displays, some prefer the cooler or more natural color temperature on their device screen. If your screen is too yellow you can remove this excess yellow color by customizing the color temperatures to your preference via screen filter apps.

Many Android devices have built-in display temperature app that allows users to customize the Red Green Blue (RGB) color values. If your phone or tablet has such a feature, simply increase the value of “Blue” color until you get rid of the annoying yellow tint. If such feature is not available, you can install third party color customizer or screen adjuster/filter apps available in Google Play Store. One such app is “screen adjuster”.

How to fix yellow display problem in Smartphones and tablets

• Download screen adjuster app (free on Google Play)
• Open the app and then set the value for “Blue” color to 8 or 9.
  
• You may need to set it higher depending upon how yellow your display is.
• Tap on “Adjuster On”
  
• Also enable “Autorun” option at the bottom
  

Now your device display will look less yellow and more cool or bluer. ON the plus side you can keep the screen filter app on all the time because it does not seem to affect battery life at all.

NOTE: Installing screen filter apps may prevent third party app installation by disabling the “install” button. Thus, disable the screen filter before you install any APK files. You can turn the filter back on after installation.

Windows Phone started off life as a promising alternative to Android and iOS five years ago. Microsoft positioned its range of Windows Phone 7 handsets as the true third mobile ecosystem, but its time to admit it has failed. If a lack of devices from phone makers and even Microsoft itself wasnt enough evidence, the final nail in the coffin.

Microsoft and Nokia have sold a total of 110 million Windows Phones compared to 4.5 billion iOS and Android phones in the same period. IDC recently reported that 400 million phones were sold in the recent quarter, meaning just 1.1 percent of them were Lumia Windows Phones. Microsoft does not have any compelling Lumia handsets, and the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL were both disappointing flagship devices with unfinished Windows 10 Mobile software.

Microsoft only sold 4.5 million Lumia devices in the recent quarter, compared to 10.5 million at the same time last year. Thats a massive 57 percent drop. Even a 57 percent increase wouldnt be enough to save Windows Phone right now.

With Lumia sales on the decline and Microsofts plan to not produce a large amount of handsets, its clear were witnessing the end of Windows Phone. Rumors suggest Microsoft is developing a Surface Phone, but it has to make it to the market first.

Windows Phone has long been in decline and its app situation is only getting worse. With a lack of hardware like  Camera Module, lack of sales, and less than 2 percent market share, its time to call it: Windows Phone is dead. 

I got I 2 Windows Phone last day one has camera issue "Something went wrong" when trying to open the rear camera. All updated with Windows 10 via Windows Insider App.

I also try to experiment with  "Project Astoria"  you have ability to install android appsing your Windows 10 mobile. But later they stop this support on newest build.

Real Windows on phones might become a thing with Continuum eventually, but Windows Phone as we know it is done. It wont stop Microsoft producing a few handsets every year as a vanity project, but for everyone else its the end of the line. Farewell, Windows Phone.

You may not be able to completely uninstall some apps, in that case simply uninstall updates. Solution 2: Reset App Preferences

1. Go to Settings >> Apps (application manager)
2. Tap on the three dots on the top right
3. Tap "Reset app preferences"
4. Optionally, also select "Reset default apps"

Solution 3: Clearing cache and data for Contacts app.

First make sure you sync your contacts to your Gmail account. Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Google >> Tap on your Gmail address >> Tap on “Contacts”. After your contacts is synced proceed to below steps to wipe cache from your Contacts app:

• Go to Settings >> Apps >> All
• Scroll down and select “Contacts” or “People”
• Tap “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”
• Reboot device and see if you still get that error

Solution 4: Deleting voicemail

Sometimes this error pops up when you have a lot of voicemail saved on your device. Many people forget that the deleted voicemails are actually in the “deleted” voicemail folder and you need to empty it to get rid of the voicemails completely. Deleting voicemails can also solve dialer force closing issues. If you don’t know how to delete voicemail on Android, here are the methods

• Open Google Voice app
• Select “Voicemail” (VM)
• Now press menu or the 3 vertical dots on the upper right
• Tap “Delete”

Solution 5: Change Date/Time format

Weirdly, many Samsung Galaxy smartphone users have fixed this contacts app automatically closing issue by simply editing the time format from the date & time settings. Here is how you can do that:

• Go to Settings >> Data & time
• Tap on “Use 24 hour format” or uncheck it if already is
• Now also choose a different date format

Method 1: Re-installing apps/games

Method 2: Changing date/time

If you don’t know how to change the language, here’s the step:

1. Go to settings >> scroll down and find “language”
2. If you don’t find it, look for the timezone (example: GMT+5:45). The second option after that is the Language settings.
3. Tap the + sign >> Select language >> tap check button at the bottom
4. Restart phone/tablet

Method 4: Reboot device in the middle of download/update

1. Uninstall the app causing the error<.li>
   
2. Again click on the app and press install/download
3. Reboot your Windows device by holding volume down and power button simultaneously for 10 seconds.
4. The installation should start automatically.

Method 5: Changing default store location of apps to SDCard

If you are getting the 80073cfb error while trying to update particular apps or games, you can first uninstall these apps, set its default installation location to SD card and then retry the download.

1. Go to application list
2. Scroll down and select Storage sense
3. Select phone >> select “apps+games”
4. Choose the app causing error >> Tap “move to SD” (if you want to move multiple apps at once, you can use the select button on the bottom of the screen)
5. Now try to update the app from the Window Store

2. Scroll down and select “Contacts” or similar app
3. Select “Clear Data”
4. Reboot phone and see if the error message pops up or not

Method 3: Clear data of “Sim Toolkit” from settings

Use the same steps as in method 1, but this time select “Sim Toolkit” from the app list and clear its data.

1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Swipe screen left to reach “All”tab
2. Scroll down and select “Sim Toolkit”
3. Select “Clear Data”
4. Reboot phone and see if the error message pops up or not

Method 3 for custom ROMs: Reflashing ROM

If this is custom rom related issue, try reflashing the ROM via recovery. If nothing works, clear data/ factory reset your device and install a different ROM because this may be a ROM specific issue.
